The Engineer will be responsible for working directly with engineering management to provide any support required for determining the performance parameters and included in the design and development of an aerodynamic decelerator and parachute system. The person in this role will perform computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design assignments of proposed engineering and operations-related projects, tracks and maintains the records related to those assignments, and carries out general office functions for Engineering.
Butler Parachute Systems, Inc., based in Roanoke, Virginia, has an immediate opening for a Certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Senior or Master Parachute Rigger. This is an entry level position that will consist of assembling and packing UAV and military emergency parachutes, as well as civilian seat, back, and chest type parachutes.
